Did you know that long-term mortgage interest rates continued to go higher Tuesday. The 30-year fixed-rate average rose to 5.9 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate gained to 5.27 percent. The 1-year adjustable rate jumped to 4.56 percent. If you wait for prices to drop on housing to buy, you will miss the boat.
